Limited run. When it’s gone, it’s gone.
We made one batch of the Boil Boss Cooling Ring in camo, and we won’t be making it again. Once this stock sells out, the camo ring is done for good.
It’s the same Boil Boss ring, dressed for the duck blind, the deer camp and the boat launch. It clips onto your pot, hooks to a garden hose and wraps the whole outside of the pot in a steady stream of cool water. Your boil drops to around 150°F in as little as 3 to 5 minutes. No ice, and no watered-down seasoning.
As long as your crawfish are floating, they’re still cooking. Cool the pot fast and they sink. The cook stops and the soak starts, and that’s when they pull in the flavor.
Made from tough, durable polymer that holds up boil after boil.
Works on crawfish, shrimp and crabs. Grab a camo ring before they’re gone.

Will it fit my pot?
The camo ring is our Standard size. It fits round pots from 60 to 120 QT. The rotating brackets adjust to a wide range of pot diameters.
Does it only work on HPC pots?
No. It works with any round seafood boiler in that size range.
What do I need to hook it up?
A standard garden hose. Clip the ring on, connect the hose and turn on the water.
How fast does it cool the pot?
With the water running and a good stir, your boil drops to about 150–160°F in as little as 3 to 5 minutes. Times vary with water temperature, pot size and how full the pot is.
How do I know when to start the soak?
Watch your crawfish. While they float, they’re still cooking. Once they sink, they’ve cooled enough to start soaking up the seasoning.
Why not just use ice?
Ice is water going straight into your boil. It takes about 20 lbs of ice to cool a 100 QT pot to 150°F. That’s about 2.4 gallons of water diluting the seasoning you paid for. The ring cools from the outside, so your recipe stays full strength.

The Boil Boss cooling ring prevents mushy seafood.
Improves Flavor

Why is an aluminum pot better for frying than stainless steel?
Aluminum is an excellent conductor of heat. It distributes heat evenly, which helps to prevent uneven cooking. It reaches optimal boiling and frying temperatures quickly and stays there. Unlike the flimsy aluminum pots on the market, ours are twice as thick.
